1. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1. Scope of the General Terms and Conditions

By making a purchase on the edendresses.com website (hereinafter referred to as the “webshop”), you accept the following General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”). The GTC applies to all purchases made in the webshop, so please read this information carefully!
This GTC is effective from 01.04.2021 until revoked. The webshop operator reserves the right to modify the current GTC at any time by simultaneously publishing it on the webshop. The version of the GTC in effect at the time of the order applies to all orders.

2. USE OF THE WEBSHOP

2.1. Ordering Process

To enter into a contract, the following steps are required:

Selecting a Product and Adding to Cart

In the webshop, you can select the product you wish to purchase, choose the size, color, and quantity. During the same ordering process, you can purchase one or multiple products. After selecting the desired product and entering the necessary details, you can add the products to your cart. You can check the current contents of your cart by clicking on the cart icon.

In your cart, you can delete any item or change the specified quantity by clicking the “Delete / Update” button. Please note that selected products are not reserved for you and may be purchased by other customers.

Placing the Order

To place your order, click on the order icon in your cart. Then, you need to provide edendresses.com with your billing and shipping details. During the ordering process, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of the data you provide. edendresses.com is not liable for changes to the information you provide before the products are shipped.

When placing an order, the selected product, purchase price, and applicable shipping fee will be displayed.

Please note that only individuals over the age of 18 are entitled to place orders. Additionally, edendresses.com reserves the right to reject any order submitted through the webshop if it is part of your or a third party’s commercial activities. The website is intended for handling small, personal orders. For commercial-sized orders, please contact us at edendresses.com.

Finalizing the Order and Payment

You can purchase the products in your cart using cash on delivery, bank transfer, or credit card payment. edendresses.com reserves the right to limit the availability of these payment methods in case of technical issues.

In case of cash-on-delivery payment, edendresses.com reserves the right to charge a fee:

For credit card payments, the webshop redirects you to the payment service provider (Stripe or PayPal). Before finalizing the payment, you can modify your cart contents, payment method, or shipping method by navigating within the webshop.

Order Confirmation

After finalizing your order and payment, we will send you an email confirmation containing a summary of your purchase.

Please note that edendresses.com is not responsible for the failure or delay of confirmation if you provided an incorrect email address or if your mailbox is full or if any technical issue occurs within your control.

Additionally, edendresses.com reserves the right to:

  • Reject a confirmed order. In this case, edendresses.com will promptly inform you and refund the full amount you paid within 30 days.

  • Correct errors related to products or prices displayed in the webshop. In such cases, edendresses.com will promptly inform you of the new information. You can then reconfirm the order or either party can cancel the contract.

  • Limit the quantity of products shipped to a customer or address. If such limits are imposed, edendresses.com will notify you promptly.

Shipping

The ordered product will be delivered to the shipping address you provide during the ordering process. For additional shipping conditions, see Section 4 of this GTC (“Shipping Terms”).

2.2. Correcting Data Entry Errors

 

During the entire ordering process, up to finalizing the order and payment, you can correct data entry errors (e.g., by updating the cart or deleting items from the cart). After submitting the order, you can request corrections by emailing edenartdresses@gmail.com, but in this case, we cannot guarantee the corrections will be made before the order is processed.

2.3. Additional Information About the Ordering Process

 

The contractual relationship between you and edendresses.com is formed electronically and is not considered a written contract. The GTC is available in Hungarian. In the case of disputes, the version in effect on the order date applies. The language of the contractual relationship is Hungarian. edendresses.com has not submitted to any code of conduct.

Please note that edendresses.com reserves the right to suspend or refuse the sale of products/services if you attempt to purchase or use services in violation of this GTC or if any suspected fraud is being investigated by edendresses.com, the payment service provider (Stripe or PayPal), or any authority.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

3.1. Amounts Payable

To finalize your order, the following amounts need to be paid for the ordered product:

  • The product purchase price, which includes packaging suitable for delivery, and

  • If applicable, the separately indicated shipping fee and any handling fees related to payment.

The prices and shipping fees displayed in the Webshop are gross amounts. However, for non-EU destination countries, the shipping fee does not include any potential customs duties, taxes, or other charges imposed by those countries. These costs — which vary by country — are your responsibility. Edendresses.com cannot predict these costs in advance. These charges may be imposed directly by the customs authority of the destination country or billed through the courier service. Edendresses.com recommends that you contact the local customs authority for more information regarding applicable customs and other fees in your country.

3.2. Currencies and Payment Methods

The default currency in the Webshop is Euro. Edendresses.com processes all orders in Euro.

Edendresses.com accepts PayPal Checkout, Stripe, and any other payment methods explicitly listed in the Webshop. The payment gateway for the Webshop is PayPal.

Please note that Edendresses.com is not responsible for any delayed or failed payment if your bank declines the transaction.

3.3. Other Information

As an eco-conscious brand, we send electronic invoices via email; therefore, the package will not contain a printed invoice. Please refrain from printing it.

Edendresses.com is not responsible for rejecting an order or delivery of a product ordered at an obviously incorrect price displayed on the Webshop (e.g., due to a system or administrative error resulting in an erroneously low price). An order confirmed by Edendresses.com at an obviously incorrect price will be considered an invalid contract. In such cases, Edendresses.com offers to deliver the product at the correct price, and you have the option to cancel the order for that product.

4. SHIPPING TERMS

4.1. General Information on Shipping

Products are delivered by UPS courier service. Delivery to P.O. Box addresses is not possible.

4.2. Shipping Fees and Delivery Times

 

Applicable Shipping Fees:

For international delivery requests, the shipping fees indicated in the Webshop during checkout apply.

Applicable Delivery Times:

0-10 business days

Detailed and currently applicable shipping conditions are displayed on the Webshop.

Edendresses.com will do its best to fulfill orders within the above time frames but does not accept responsibility if delivery takes longer or if delays occur due to reasons beyond its control. In the event of any unexpected delay, Edendresses.com will make every effort to notify you accordingly.

 

4.3. Return Shipping Costs

 

When returning a product to Edendresses.com, you are responsible for the associated shipping fees, and the use of UPS is recommended.

If the product is faulty, Edendresses.com covers the return shipping fee.

5. RETURNS

5.1. Right of Withdrawal Within 30 Days

Custom-designed, made-to-measure clothing and other underwear (e.g., bodysuits) can only be returned in unopened packaging or if a clear manufacturing defect is present.

  • Other Clothing and Accessories: You have the right to withdraw without justification within 30 (thirty) days from receiving the product. To exercise this right, you must send an explicit declaration to edenartdresses@gmail.com.

In such cases, the product must be returned immediately, but no later than 30 (thirty) days from notifying Edendresses.com of your withdrawal. This deadline is met if you dispatch the product before the 30-day period expires. You can return the product with a courier of your choice or UPS, and all shipping costs are your responsibility. Edendresses.com covers return shipping fees only if the product is faulty.

5.2. Refund

Upon receiving the returned product, Edendresses.com will inspect its condition to verify compliance.

Please note that you are responsible for any reduction in value resulting from use beyond what is necessary to determine the product’s nature, properties, and function. Returns of products used beyond this extent or damaged products will not be accepted, and refunds may be denied in part or in full. Edendresses.com will notify you within 30 days of receiving the returned product whether the refund is approved, partially, or fully denied.

If approved, Edendresses.com will refund the full or reduced amount via the original payment method. If the product is not faulty, this refund does not include the return shipping fee. Refunds are based on the amount paid for the product; if purchased at a promotional price, Edendresses.com refunds only the promotional price.

5.3. Exclusions

No refund will be provided if the product is not returned within the 30-day period outlined in Section 5.1.

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply if the product was made based on your instructions or clearly personalized.

5.4. Exchanges

 

If you wish to exchange a product after exercising your right of withdrawal, please notify Edendresses.com within 30 (thirty) days of receiving the product.

The provisions under this section (“Returns”) also apply to exchanges, with the necessary modifications.

To exchange, return the unwanted item for a refund and place a new order.

6. LIABILITY

6.1. Warranty for Defects

In case of faulty performance, you are entitled to enforce a warranty claim against Edendresses.com under the conditions set out in the Hungarian Civil Code.

Upon request, the following rights are available to you: if the product has a manufacturing defect, Edendresses.com offers to repair or replace the product. If repair is not possible, or the same product is unavailable, you are entitled to a proportional price reduction, or the defect may be repaired at Edendresses.com’s expense, or you may receive a full refund. A minor defect does not warrant a full refund. You can switch between warranty claims, but any resulting costs must be covered by you unless Edendresses.com caused the need for the change.

You must report the defect without delay, but no later than 2 (two) months after discovering it. Your warranty claim expires 2 (two) years after delivery.

6.2. Product Warranty

 

You can also enforce a product warranty claim, requesting Edendresses.com to repair or replace the product. You must notify Edendresses.com within 2 (two) months of discovering the defect and prove its existence.
